Run the same engine the lender will run, before listing — privately, with a ranked remediation plan and the adjustment headroom before the deal breaks the coverage floor.

A Readiness QoE does not and cannot satisfy the lender-commissioned requirement under SBA SOP 50 10 8.1. It is pre-flight for the report the lender will order.

How an engagement runs

Five steps from engagement letter to a signed, verifiable report.

  1. The lender engages

The lender signs the engagement letter and is the report's only addressee. Threshold and category are computed from the purchase agreement, and conflicts are checked before work starts.

  2. Secure intake

The borrower gets a scoped, upload-only link — no read-back. Ledger and bank connect directly; the business Form 4506-C brings in IRS transcripts. Nothing travels by email.

  3. The engine runs

Four-way tie-out, Cash Proof, adjustment scoring and the DSC Bridge. Every figure carries a provenance record back to the source line.

  4. Credentialed review

A CPA- or CVA-credentialed reviewer with no stake in the deal resolves each judgment item, records every override with its reason, and signs.

  5. Delivery

The signed report, crosswalk and credit memo insert land in the lender's portal — Standard in ten business days — with a verification code anyone holding the file can check.

Independence, stated plainly

Ikigai QoE is a service of MyIkigai LLC, and its founder is also a licensed Washington business broker. We say that first because it matters. Any lender-mandated engagement where an Ikigai-affiliated broker represents either party is declined outright — not disclosed and continued — and referred to a peer provider under a zero-consideration protocol. Fees are never contingent on a deal closing or on price.
